    		 If it's conceived by B.Burgalat, it must be ok. I thought at first for full rich sound and a charismatic singer. French rock in french sounds great !

    		 This album starts pretty conventional and gets better later on. Of course, also 'Morte', the first track is a clever composition with a hookline, that... well... hooks. There's a certain 80's revival air about this album, reminding me of Blondie and several Neue Deutsche Welle bands, mingling romantic feelings (the voice) with a certain coolness (guitar & a few decent synths). So, while a lot of French bands tend to overproduce their stuff, sinking the listener in an avalanche of effects, there is a certain thruthfulness and honesty in this music. That's good if you like such qualities (not me necessarily). But then the album (the dragon?) takes off with track 5 ("Seules à Paris"), where chords and harmonies become more sophisticated. It reaches the sky with track 8 ("Plastic hooker"), where the production gets more experimental in a The Cure maxi single meaning of the word, in vinyl times this might have been the opener for Side B (the "dark" side). In this sense it goes on with track 9 ("Froide"). 10 ("Naufragés de l'ombre") then has a certain "Frenchness" about it : melancholic and balladesk. Midtempo piece 12 ("Tell me") links the end back to the beginning. At that point they should have found the police.
