From August 10 to August 16, in Budapest (Hungary), will occur one the biggest music festivals in Europe.
During one week, 390 000 people from all across Europe (including 10 000 French people) will attend the shows by more
than 360 artists on fifteen different stages.
Created in 1992, the Sziget is often considered as the European Woodstock. It takes place on the 266 acres of the
Óbudai-sziget on the Danube, in the heart of the capital of Hungary.
For its 18th edition, the festival has invited ten artists from the French musical production (Gotan Project, Ez3kiel, Chapelier fou, Charlie Winston,
Inspector Cluzo, Skip the Use, Rona Hartner, Ziveli, La Kumpania Beats, Ace Out,
Black Box Revelation, Vive la Fête, Jaune Toujours, Madensuyu, Drums Are for Parades, Aeroplane, Tcha Limberg and DJ Gaetano)
to play along some big names of the international music scene.
In addition, the festival offers a plethora of other activities including cinema, dance, theatre and sport.
